WHY BECOME A Volunteer? VOLUNTEER?
The Hells Canyon area is in need of your help! Our community relies on volunteer work for many events, to sustain community-oriented organizations, and for bringing fun & educational experiences to our small, remote region. Without the work of volunteers, these things don’t happen. Whether you have two hours, ten hours, or are able to commit to a consistent volunteer shift, your community needs your help!

The old ways of recruiting volunteers aren’t working as well as they used to. Families have both parents working full time to make ends meet, both parents involved in child rearing, and side hustles going for extra income, all on top of day-to-day responsibilities and pressures. What we’ve heard time and time again is that there is simply no time or mind space to devote to volunteering.
We hear you! It’s not our mothers’ world anymore where joining the PTA is commonplace or convenient. We strive to make volunteering fit into YOUR schedule. We hope to gather all volunteer opportunities in one spot so you can choose what’s right for you based on your agenda, your interests, and your life. It doesn’t take a ton of time to make a big difference in the Hells Canyon area. Together we can keep the community we care about going strong.
